Fasting Timer ("Service") can be used without signing in and does not collect or transmit any user information to external servers.

The Service processes the following data exclusively on-device and does not transmit it externally:

  • Fasting Data (Timer Records): Fasting start time, end time, duration, and completion status are stored on-device using SwiftData. No data is transmitted externally.
  • Health Data (Weight): Weight data is read and written via Apple HealthKit for tracking purposes. Data is stored only on the user's device (iPhone/Apple Watch).
  • Subscription Data: In-app purchase transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit 2. The developer does not have access to payment information.
  • Notification Data: Local notifications are used to alert users when fasting windows complete. No push notification servers are used.

All data is processed exclusively on-device through Apple's SwiftData, HealthKit, and StoreKit frameworks. No data is transmitted to the developer or any third party.

Nature of Service

Fasting Timer ("Service") is an intermittent fasting timer application for iPhone and Apple Watch that helps users track their fasting schedules.

Not Medical Advice

The Service provides time-tracking and general wellness information only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any fasting regimen, especially those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Subscription Terms

The Service offers optional Premium subscriptions (weekly and yearly) with a free trial period. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation can be done through your Apple ID settings.

Representations and Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. Andygile, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Andygile, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to our Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may update Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. If there is a change in the Terms and Conditions, we will notify you 7 days in advance. If you have any objection to changing the Terms and Conditions, please contact andy@andygile.com within the period.
